What do I wear? How should I look?
Whatever and however you want. Dress in clothes that you feel good in. Wear your favorite outfit. Do hair and make-up as feels comfortable (or do nothing at all). There are no requirements except that you feel good.
What should I bring?
- A change of clothes. It doesn’t need to be an entire outfit, but bring a spare shirt or sweater. As a general rule, make sure you have at least one solid (prints are great, but it helps to be able to switch if need be).
- Comfortable shoes. Wear any shoes you want for pictures, but make sure you can walk in them or have a spare set you can change into.
- A water bottle and some chapstick.
- Your phone, ipod, mp3 player, etc with some of your favorite music. This is optional, but it can help you relax for the camera if you feel nervous.
- DON’T bring any notions about being ‘not photogenic’. Everyone can look good in pictures and it’s my job to make that happen!

What happens on photo day?
For everyone’s safety and well-being, all photo sessions are in public places. Once we’re there, I will have a paper for you to sign saying it’s okay for me to take your photo (and whether it’s okay for me to post it online). Then we’ll work together on taking some photos! Feel free to bring up any ideas if you have a particular image in mind. If not, it’s okay! We will do as many shots as your patience and the daylight will allow.
What happens afterward?
Within a week of doing our shoot, I will sort, edit, and touch-up the pictures as needed. I’ll then upload them online and send you a link for downloading. Once you get the link, you are free to use the photos as you want (share on social media, get prints, etc).
